-After the U.S became an established nation, wee similar to all eras of immigration. First their was the lanuage barrier , and then getting a job and house. There was a lot of discrimination towards eachother to. Draw conclusion

-America was known as the land of opportunity because people were frfee to work and succed here in the 19th and early 20th century, immigration helped the us populatiom grow helping to populate the west and establish a base for industrialization, culturally they assimilated into a single american identity.

-City dwellers faced the noise, dirt, and crimeof the cities, the hardships of factory work,and the overcrowded, dangerous conditions of tenements.
