Valley Forge Would you have quit?

It was a bad start from the beginning. In the winter of 1777 and 1778,George Washington commanded several thousand patriot soldiers who spent the winter at Valley Forge, 18 miles outside of Philadelphia, it was not an easy time. If you were a soldier at Valley Forge would you have stayed? If i was a soldier at Valley Forge i would not renlist. There was to many deaths and illnesses, the conditions were horrible, it was so bad that even the doctor left.

If i was a soldier at Valley Forge i would not renlist. According to document A there was to much deaths and illnesses. On February 1, 1778 8,000 soldiers at Valley Forge were sick which were 40% of soldiers at Valley Forge the lowest estimate of American soldiers who died at valley Forge was 4,000 American soldiers. If i was a soldier at Valley Forge i would not renlist.

If i was a soldier at Valley Forge i would not renlist. According to documents B the conditions at Valley Forge were too horrible. Looking at the picture from the paragraph it seemed like the soldiers were freezing to death and getting frostbite some of the soldiers had holes in their shoes and ripped pants. If i was a soldier at Valley Forge i would not renlist.

If i was a soldier at Valley Forge i would not renlist. According to document C the the conditions were really bad that even the doctor left. According to Waldo’s diary said that his skin and eyes were almost spoiled with continuous smoke. If i was a soldier at Valley forge i would not renlist.
