member the Titans, a film based on a true story of an African- American coach, Coach Boone. The Titans are a High School football team T.C. Williams High School from Virginia. One Black and one White high school are closed and the students sent to T.C. Williams High School under federal mandate to integrate. The year is seen through the eyes of the football team where the man hired to coach the Black school is made head coach over the highly successful white coach. Based on the actual events of 1971, the team becomes the role models of the community are the boys and the adults they learn to depend on and trust each other.

Coach Boone is an example of a leader. He is hired to be the new head coach of the Titans. He faces a tough year of teaching a multiracial team. Instead of listening to the bad marks, outburst and rumors, Boone pushes his team to their limits and forces good relationships between players, regardless of race. His vision for the team involves getting the players concerned in what the team needs to become, and not what it is supposed to be, a waste. Boone is a tough leader, not like Hitler or anything he means nothing but good and positive things for his players. He believes in making the players get to know each other and where they are from. When Boone says, You will wear a jacket, shirt, and tie. If you don't have one buy one, can't afford one then borrow one from your old man, if you don't have an old man, then find a drunk, trade him for his. It showed that he was a handy Craftsman and wanted done what he wanted it done no matter what it took.
