I am going to talk about an article that I found on Le Monde online about the 6 nations rugby match that took place on sunday between Scotland and France. I live in Scotland and was at the match so this is why I chose it. Philippe Saint-Andre, the new coach of the XV de France, said he was extremely pleased with the performance of his players on Sunday evening in his first away match as France coach and also Frances first away match in the 6nations tournament. It only being his second match in charge, Saint-Andre managed to pull off a fantastic victory in front of a very difficult Scotland side at Murrayfield stadium, in the heart of the Scotland's capital Edinburgh. Scotland were playing extremely well, and went 10points up against France, fighting hard to try and secure a victory that they desperately need after so many losses. but Saint-Andres men, a solid and united group of players will not stand down. With the help of their new star player in the centre Westley Fofana, France managed to pull back Scotlands 10 point advantage and then over take it to win 23-17.

With his second win in two matches, the successor to Marc Lievremont was pleased with the progress made since his victory in Paris against Italy. He was pleased with his teams improvement in the second half where at the end they managed to secure the match. they may have conceded two tries but the pride and honour the French players had was well paid off. The type of pride and honour that they have with when they play against the bigger teams like New Zealand, England or South Africa.

Rugby in France is huge, the whole nation loves it. It is one of the best
