Reasons behind my decision:

1. Nature of that person:

The candidate is not having faith in his own knowledge and experience which he has earned in last consecutive six years. Believe in himself will not make him doing this kind of illegal activity (showing CD asking for better position), which is a big upset for me.

OR

The candidate is very greedy for money, He is aware the fact that his experience and smartness will get him selected but he wants higher pay scale illegally.

2. After-effect by selecting that person:

My assumption:

Because of his nature he can do any damage to my organization at any point of time, as already it is in bad shape. If I select him with knowing all of this and there will be a big chance any time he can get caught by his past organization as I am in an organization which is very competitive and in today's world of competition and determination of reaching number 1 spot, many companies trace their ex-employees behaviours after giving release from their organization.

May be he will serve my organization better than anyone, maybe my company sales volume will be back on track and may be recruiting a very smart and experienced person will be turn into a result of my next promotion. But all this "may be" coming with a big threat to me and to my organization.

3. After-effect by not selecting that person:

My assumption:

I have to negotiate with the level of knowledge, expertise and smartness by selecting other sales representative to give my organization a safe future and to me as well.

By hiring a lower level expertise sales representative, I may have to work hard and pushed the hired person a bit more but I am securing the future of organization and of my career indeed.
