The film, "Kiss of the Spider Woman" is an exceptional film that is utilizable in the analysis of one's perceived significance in regard to his ideologies, associations, and beliefs. The film played an integral role in surfacing the existence of various spheres of life in which an individual can get himself entangled. The two central characters, Valentin Arregui, as well as Luis Molina, have successfully brought that out. Valentin Arregui, a political prisoner serving a jail term because of his association with a leftist faction, believes his eyes are opened to see the Brazilian government exploitation. On the other hand, Luis Molina is sent to prison because he is charged with sexually assaulting a young boy.

Valentin and Molina perceive movies differently. This is evident in the movie that Molina narrated to Valentin. Therefore, I support his views on movies since I also believe in the existence of love.
