PURPOSE:

The purpose of the journal is to provide students the opportunity to share personal opinions and experiences relative to the topics of discussion each week. Students will have the opportunity to reflect on how a topic affects their personal wellness and personal growth. Personal reflection is important for wellness and behaviour change.

INSTRUCTIONS:

At the end of each week, guiding questions will be posted in the Summary section. Students should record their reflections on these guiding questions.

A journal template is provided below, however journals may take many forms. Students may use an actual notebook and photograph their entries for submission, or use online journaling software.

SUBMISSION:

In week 7, submit your BEST THREE journal entries ONLY to the Dropbox. The due date will be set by your instructor.

This assignment is worth 10% of your final grade. Make sure your submission meets the following criteria for full marks.

Journal Entry 3 – Week 3 – Intellectual and Interpersonal Wellness

  1. After you graduate, how important is it for you to find work in a career/job that you find fulfilling and challenging?

Getting graduate is an important aspect of everyone’s life, so I am also eagrly waiting for my graduation. Right now, I am currently enrolled in Business Administartion course and after my graduation it is very important for me to find a job that will relates with my course, because its my dream to get a job of CSR (Customer Srevice Representative) as there are huge compitition in this field and it is very challeneging face for me to achieve my goal in this environment. I want this position in the company because my post show that what I am and how much potential I have for doing work. Apart from it, job makes you responsible towards your life and career. While in this field I can learn a lot many things like team work, way of communication as well as it add-up my experience that will makes me more valueable. Moreover, everyone must engagge in some or other economic acttivity for survival because without work, life isn’t possible.

 

  1. How do you keep yourself socially connected? Have you evolved in this aspect of your life?

 I will be always socially connected through various social apps like facebook, instagram, twitter etcetera. I always evolved in this aspect of life because I believe to be connected people no matter than that you are in touch with them through social media or physically. as we all know in today’s era everyone is too busy in their lives that no one has time for themselves even, but through social site they remain connected with them, we share photos, status of our happiness and sorrow. On the other hand, it is not only good for your private life but also goodin business sense because it is helpful for one who wants to create their professional network or if anyone looking for job. Also it is also good for your mental health. In each period, societies experience various changes, and as of late our own has been more affected than whatever else by online networking.

Journal Entry 4 – Week 4 – Spiritual and Emotional Wellness

  1. Based on your assessment scores for spiritual wellness (please include your score), how do you think your health is being affected by this dimension?

Spiritual wellness played a key role in human being’s life so, same with me as well. After engaging in activites like reading books, hanging out with friends, doing artistic paintings, meditation in open air and enjoy nature, it directly improves my mental as well as physical health. I am feeling comfortable and take my life in very easy way. There is not much but at some extent I have some relation of my personal values with daily actions. I also belief in prayers and spiritual beliefs because whenever I feel sad or disappointed it gives me right direction. I can comfortable speaks about my personal vaues and believes and, I am very tolerable and try to learn others values too. I sense very positive towards my life and I really appreciate this natural force which helps me to live around.

  1. Speak about a time you have struggled to forgive someone (this could include yourself). If you did end up finding a way to forgive them, explain how that made you feel and any overall lessons learned.

Yes, I have my own personal experience, where I had to struggle a lot between the two question that whether I should forgive him or not. I am talking about my restaurant manager where I used to work in november in Brampton, he harrased me and trying to eve teas me but that was my strength I run from there and saved myself, thw whole week I did not go for work and even not step out from home, but after a week he came to my home and feeling sorry for his mistake, he even offered me to slap him if I want I was so confused at that time. But seriously I end up by forgiving him, because he apolozise his mistake and, he learnt from his mistake because he also has a daughter. I really feel good after forgiving him and decided to sit and see let the Karma do his job. But after that incident I decided not to trust anyone in this country not even on the workers working with you, not even on friends, whenever you meet anyone, any situation or anythin, just think about the worst part of that and get themself ready for that situation.
