Metabical Case - Lady Gaga

Metabical case-Music has played a remarkable role in the world of entertainment right from its inception as people either listen to music based on the beat or lyrics which could be sensational. There are so many area of music which includes R&B, hip hop, pop, rock, and country music, as these sectors has produced several artists today.

Lady Gaga whose original name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta is one of the people that have made her mark in the world of music to the level of being an international pop star, Lady Gaga was born on the twenty- eight of March 1986 in Yonkers, New York. She worked her way into music right from her young age by learning how to play the piano at age four and as she grew older she did not relent in her quest for studying music to the extent of performing at night club. She later advanced into New York University's Tisch school of Art at age seventeen where she further studied in-depth music and also enhancing her songwriting skills, but later dropped out of the school to find her feet through her creative thoughts.

Lady Gaga's professional career started in 2005 when she was signed to Def Jam Records as she was ready to hit the spot light but later dropped just few months after the signing. This did not stop her from doing her thing as she went ahead performing by herself. In 2007, she started work with Interscope Records and her major role was write songs for artist on the label, likes of New Kids on the block, Britney Spears, and The Pussycat Dolls. Afterwards, Gaga was first artist to be signed into Streamline Records which was owned by the renowned producer Vincent Herbert. The main notion here is to work to hand in hand with Universal and Interscope.

Taking a little about commercial outburst, Lady Gaga release her debut single called "Just Dance" (Lady Gaga). in the year 2008 which recorded a remarkable success as it was nominated for Grammy in the same year but lost the slot to Daft Punk . Gaga did not lose track of her dream by releasing her second single which was a huge as it ranked number one on every chart list in all category across board. She later lunched her first album "The Fame" ("Lady Gaga (A)" 8). in 2008 and later that year she came up with her maiden tour "The Fame Ball Tour" ("Lady Gaga (A)" 8). In 2009, Gaga and Kanye West came together to co-headline an arena tour called "Fame Kills tour" ("Lady Gaga (A)" 10). which is the center for discussion in this paper when Kanye West backed out of the tour leaving her, her record label and the promoters like Live Nation and WME in a cross road where a decision needed to be made.

In a case like this, If were to be Troy Carter, I would go with the second option because it seem as the best option out of the three options. Considering the first option which goes with maintaining the arena and for her to go solo for the concert, I believe this involves a lot of uncertainty, as it involves taking over the whole cost attached to the concert without assurance of breaking even. Looking at the third option, this does not seem as a good option as all the cash incurred for the concert will amount to a waste of funds and in additions it will also tarnish the image of Lady Gaga
