A project is defined as a temporary endeavor undertaken to create a unique product, service, or result. (Schwalbe, 2007). Each one of the South American Adventures Unlimited tours is an individual project including a definition or selection phase, a planning phase, and an execution phase. Project Management is defined as integration of everything that needs to be done by using number of project management techniques, as the project pass through its life cycle in order to meet projects objectives. (Burke, 2003). Each tour has an established objective, a defined life span, and is constrained by scope, time cost, and quality requirements. So the project management should apply to their tour business.

The major factor affecting the project implementation or executions are scope, time and cost. These three factors may lead the well ruin the well planned projects easily.

Scope refers to the quality and quantity of project deliverables specific to a particular project. Each project has its own well defined scope. The scope of the project is based on the quality of the output. It must be achievable and it needs proper planning of using the resources and time management to achieve the goal.

Time refers to the actual time required to produce a deliverable. Naturally, the amount of time required to produce the deliverable will be directly related to the amount of requirements that are part of the end result (scope) along with the amount of resources allocated to the project (cost).

Cost is the estimation of the amount of money that will be required to complete the project. Cost itself encompasses various things, such as resources, labor rates for contractors, risk estimates, bills of materials, et cetera. All aspects of the project that have a monetary component are made part of the overall cost structure. (Tom, 2011)

Through the use of project management methods, at the business execution process, the measures of time, cost and scope was used compared the change in the basis of cost and other factors with expectation to ensure that the entire project will be executed according to plan. But in this case, the South American Adventures Unlimited missed the train and must be compensation for the travel costs of 30%. It is due to bad planning. If they use a project management method, these issues will be resolved.

In the fierce competition of the global market, project management put the customer on the critical position. General executive and sales representatives will be more consider than the project manager about the customer's unique needs and requests. The rising of concern for consumers' intention is to promote the development of some Chinese products and services. In this case, lack of concern for consumers intention led to a number of consumers are not satisfied with the company's service.
