[The war on Terrorism]

The war on terrorism is used to justify a variety of actions in many different countries. Israel uses the term to justify bombing apartment buildings in Gaza. The term has been used in Russia to explain oppressive measures in Chechnya. In Canada the term has been used to justify oppressive measures in Chechnya. It seems that many countries focus many unexplained, unnatural disasters on terrorism.

The aftermath of the 2001 September 11 attacks on the Trade Center Buildings and the Pentagon in the United States has been promulgated by the United States President George W. Bush. Since the "War on Terrorism" has begun thousands of Iraqi civilians and other civilians have been killed. Even though the actual number is still unknown medical reports have reported over 150,000, with that being stated Iraqi civilians are starting to become more hostile to the presence of the Unites States Military.

Since the last six years when the "war on terror" was declared high profile challenges to these assumptions have been rare. Many people believe the threat on terrorism is a fantasy that has been exaggerated and exploited by politicians. Should the American citizens believe everything that is stated by the American politicians and news officials? Should Americans citizens or any citizens of that matter believe the information that they have discovered themselves by searching the internet and watching many news reports?

The aftermath of the September 11th attacks has also cause many questions today from American citizens that would probably never be answered in their life time. Questions like who exactly is responsible and what are the motives and proof? With all of the security within the United States, how could something like this be executed and undetected? I feel that us the United States citizens, us the United States tax payers are not be told the entire story or maybe even the truth and will probably learn the full truth behind the September 11th attacks in their lifetime.

The United States military has been in Iraq for almost
