The issues of same -sex marriage are big controversial issue now in United States of America. Gay means that a person whose sexual point of reference is to persons of the same sex. Gay marriage is a social issue now days as well as marriage were the first major source of debate in the U.S.A. in 1990. The same-sex marriage has burst on one of the most affect and emotionally contest debates in U.S.A. today. Some people in U.S.A. are saying that there should be gay marriage allowed in U.S.A. and the other people are saying no there should be no gay marriage. Now day's people agree that they are gay before they used to afraid to open up.

There should be gay marriage because people should be allowed to marry whomever they desire to regardless of gender. On the other hand many gay right activists argue that marriage is a basic human right one that must not be denied to gay couples for any reason. Gay right is like women's and civil rights issue and gay Americans should be able to enjoy the rights as everyone else in society. Gay are not asking for more or less than equal treatment under the law as guaranteed to all citizens in the U.S. constitution's 14th Amendment. Gays are not asking for government money, tax breaks, and preferential status in seeking jobs, redress of past objection or other rights or human rights that would set them apart from others. Marriage is not just love; brides and groom do not have proven to the state that they love one another before receiving a marriage license. Update of same sex marriage.

Gay marriage maintain that the definition of marriage is about loving, self-determining couple engaging in an ordinary civil contract that has nothing to do with children. Same-sex marriage should also be legalized to protect the children of gay couples, increasingly same-sex couples are raising children together, and the parents of those children should be allowed to confirm their promise to one other through marriage. Legalization of a same-sex marriage is important step in the fight to ride homosexuals of their status as second-class citizens. Opponent of gay marriage are not so much against same-sex marriage as against homosexuality itself. In the meantime same sex marriage supporters say that denying gays the right to marry is illegal. Along those lines same-sex marriage supporters claim that legalizing it will not harm the blessedness of marriage. Many gay couples have adopted and raised children and that is a proof that gays can be good parents.
