The day is almost here. Excitement builds as a senior gets closer and closer to graduation. For many, high school is torture. Students long for a taste of freedom during their high school experience. However, High school is a place where students get ready for college, but sometimes the students are not yet ready for college. So, an extra year for students in high school will give them an opportunity to become prepared for college. Extending high school to five years would allow students to have a lighter schedule, and allow them to be mentally ready. Students use most or all of their time studying. This leaves students little or no time for other activities. Extending high school into five years would allow the students to spread out their time, letting them have more time to do what they want while obtaining all the necessary credits for college. Extending will reduce the amount of stress that high school students can obtain in four years. Stress reduction would improve academic performance, character development, and physical health. To have experience you to do that thing you do best and how well you do at it. I think that school could teach you how to have experience in everything you are doing.
