What would you say if a tattoo parlor let your son have a tattoo under 18 without a parent's permission? I mean isn't it the law that you're supposed to get a tattoo with your parents permission if you're under 18. That's what happened with a mother who had a 16 year old son who just wanted a tattoo but didn't wait. After that she sued him and won the case.

I actually agree with what the mother did and I will explain more when I tell you three arguments about this situation.

What I don't get is that some people break the law even if it's for the better. Don't you think the business owner should know better and check if there's law considering people under 18? It's kind of weird that the tattoo parlor didn't say anything about where the parents were. It's not really right to break a law because you know that you get caught.

Another argument I have is that the 16 year old had a fake ID. The tattoo parlor has to know that he had a fake ID all along. I mean, I understand it's hard to know if it's real or fake but he could at least make sure. The mother is also a bit of fault, because she has to know where he's going or ask him questions. Also the son is also at ease, I mean he was sneaky and foolish.

A last argument I have is that there are consequences when disobeying the law. The owner could face series penalties and should know it. First of all, he could go to jail and second of all he could get sued like the mother did. This law is very series because it's illegal to have a tattoo under the age of 16 without a parent's permission. You can feel a lot of pain and if you want to remove it you need to get surgery.

All of this has made me realize that people can be very foolish sometimes. However, the mother made a bad decision but then a good decision. Since, if the owner does this again with other children it won't affect other people because she sued him. I still agree that what the mother did was right even though it was also her fault, as well.
