Dear Mrs. Babcock,

My internship In DC is going good so far we have not gotten there yet but I am very excited. I decided to go on this trip because I thought it would be cool to see all the historical buildings and find out how things work and worked. This is a really great experience for me.

I am excited to go on this journey because I feel like I will learn a lot and become for familiar with the way things are run and why they changed from the past. I want to see how people interact down here too from living up north I would like to see how people are down here and if they do the same types of things. I am also happy to see all these great historical monuments and too actually walk in a place where there was war many years ago.

I am most excited about going to all the historical places and seeing all the places. I want to go to all of them if I can and see the stories behind them and finding out how things work in the government. It would be really cool if I got to meet the president. I will write when I have questions for you!
