Many countries in the world are particularly different from each other, especially when it comes to their value dimensions. An agreeable example is the United States of America and India. One might think to himself/herself, how can these two countries be different in value dimensions due to their immense population? Indeed they might share similarities in population, but do not forget the key word is "value dimensions" the population just simply means there are an abundance of people, and these people are the ones that create value dimensions. A creditable man by the name of Hofstede developed an applicable system of classifications for value dimensions, well known as taxonomy. The first classification he developed was Individualism/Collectivism. India is knows as a more collectivism country. In India they have very tight communities/groups, they have the sense of always being around people at all times. Attending social organizations are also huge for the Indians. When it comes to the United States, we are more individualism country. Americans have more personal rights and privacy. We like to have are own privacy at times to recollect are thoughts and relax. In India it is quite the opposite. Another classification Hofstede developed is Uncertainty Avoidance. On the spectra the United States is a bit higher than India. Americans are higher to become more nervous by the change of something or unclear. This basically means we are residence of change. If it is different from our norm we get tense and at times do not know how to react. In India they are lower, meaning they are more self reliant and willing to take risks. Can adapt to changes faster than Americans. The third classification is Power Distance. India is higher than United States on the scale. Indians love the power in relationships a
