“THE CHALLENGE OF TRUTH”

One can say, think or try and dissect or literally open the brain and try to figure out what’s happening inside of it and that’s what humans are trying to do these days. As if we are curious of all the things in this world. This reflection of my mine was raised up for the simple fact that I really want to know why and what’s going on the human mind. Last but not the least in this reflection, what I hope to is to discover and unleashed Man’s yearning for the truth.

Perhaps all of us in our journey, growing older in age, size, height and wisdom are always yearning for what is true. As the battle cry of the people who are oppressed, abused and misjudged says, “we want the truth”. And as an old saying of Aristotle goes, “All men desire to know”, proves that men wants to know what is the truth. Underlying all the challenges, trials and obstacles that hinder the truth to prevail, we must always fight for what is true because other yet fail to recognize that truth is just challenging us. That is why others result to the question: are we capable of knowing the truth? And the answer would be a Yes because Man is endowed with intellect which enables him to know and understand things which are true.

However, I can’t believe for in some cases others get angry if they knew what is true. It is somehow contradicting to what Aristotle have said. For example, in the seminary if you stand for what is true, others would misjudge you. I don’t know why and where to stand. Since as part of our human nature, all of us are yearning for the truth, why they would react as such? After understanding and reflecting, truth is what happens to being when there is a being to know it.

Therefore, all men seek the truth because that is the act of being impressing upon a creature’s intellect but we must remember always that the truth is challenging our capacity. Hence, humans as we are, our capacity to know the truth is limited and thus we cannot always understand and comprehend all that is true.
