If my brain was removed and replaced by someone else's brain, I would consider myself to be an entirely new person, to a certain degree. After thoroughly analyzing the question, I have concluded that it is certainly the brain that registers all my thoughts, my actions, my emotions, my views and so forth. However, the idea of the physical structure of the body I am being transferred to is also taken into consideration, as it would altogether affect and modify how my brain will function. My old brain residing in a new body would be like a foreign immigrant who is introduced to a new environment; they have yet to adapt to their surroundings and adjust their habits to function properly. Although it will be in a remote setting, my brain functioning in a new body would better reveal me as myself, as my individuality, my obtained knowledge, along with my personal memories all have evolved through brain activity.

My body seems to be an object that my brain can manipulate since the brain has complete control over all the minuscule activities that my body can perform. This allows me to understand that it can do the same in any other body, as the body is just present for appearance, framework, and protection.

I further thought about how my body is basically a "shell." I realized that I would be a different person if I was stuck in an aged person's body, having a different mindset as I remain inside a body that is not corresponding to mine. The different obstacles and aspects would also configure the way I think and act. For example, I will have to reconsider the way I move and carry my body because the new build may not be capable of performing the flexible movements that I can currently do in my own body.

In conclusion, I would not necessarily be a completely different person, as my cognition and personality may continue to process in the same way as it did in my former body, but the physical difference in the bodies would change how I act and alter who I truly am.
