Quote #1: "You also must be patient. Strengthen your hearts, for the Lord is near."

This quote relates well to the article, "Lovely's ABC's of hope rise out of disaster." This article talks about the people in Haiti, who continue to rebuild their lives, including children, who try to get an education. It shows them waiting patiently for their lives to be reconstructed again and that they are trying to overcome what has happened by coming together and being strong. It connects to the quote as it shows them being patient, and instead of giving up, they are trying to rebuild their country. They also seem to be quite hopeful for the future, which again connects to the second part of the quote. They know that it will take many more years to recreate their infrastructure in their country, but they just keep praying and remain hopeful.

Quote #2: "...show by your good life that your works are done with gentleness, born of wisdom."

This quote relates well to the organization "Frontier College." Frontier College is a literacy organization that recruits volunteers to help and teach people of all ages, from children to adults. They strongly believe that literacy is something that everyone deserves, and are trying to spread it all over Canada. In my opinion, this quote connects specifically to Frontier College's volunteers, as they are all trying to help and spread their knowledge to all their pupils. Like the quote says, they do their work with gentleness and genuinely because they want to help. They display their own character, through the morals and values that they teach their students.
