Part One

One's perception of what a worldview is varies greatly on the world around that individual at a specific time. The beliefs one learns, the culture one grows up with, one's social economic standing, or even one's education level can paint a different picture of an individual's worldview. Many times people are unaware of their worldview because this view developed out of predisposed ideals, which are subject to constant changes based on ones surroundings. Individuals see his/her current worldview differently based on that individual's conclusive knowledge.

Part Two

The biblical/Christian worldview belief derived from biblical text and scriptures are based on the Word of God. Five important questions individuals need asked so one can fully develop and understand his/her true relationship with God. Ones need to understand that there are no right and wrong answers to these questions but consistency in the answers aids the individuals in discovering the true meaning. Belief and understanding of this relationship gives insight to the individual's real biblical/Christian worldview.

The first question one may answer in discovering his/her worldview is what origin is. In Genesis 1:1 individuals are told that God created the heavens and the earth giving credence to there was no existence until then. The Christian belief is that there was nothing until God chose to create the universe. The Bible starts with Genesis to help Christians solidify this belief. In Isaiah 45:12 God tells the people again about making the earth and stretching the heavens. Throughout the scriptures, God is reminding his people that he was the lone creator.

In further discovery, the biblical/Christian worldview one will answer the question of identity. The Bible tells us that God created man in his own image. Genesis 1:27 God created man, while in Genesis 2 God gave man the responsibility of caretaker in the Garden of Eden. This gives meaning that humans were regarded as being on a higher level of all other living things. In Colossians 3:10 one is reminded that we are created in "the image of its Creator. " Christians believe that they are created in God's image when asked about their identity.

Discovering or answering the Christian worldview question of the meaning or purpose helps shape one's belief in why God put us here. God put all individuals on earth for some reason, but individuals need to discover their reason for God placing them here. In Ephesians1:11 we find out that God had a plan for everyone. Some people may feel they are floundering while attempting to discover their chosen path, in Jeremiah 29:11 the Lord tells the people from Jerusalem living in exile in Babylon, " I know the plans I have for you" giving these people hope and encouragement to follow his word to shape God's plan with the reason they were put on the earth.
