Handling and Exercise

When you get your hamster you can't hold it a lot you have to let it adjust first. When hold a hamster you put 1 hand underneath of it and one hand lightly over top of it half way on their body. For exercise I put my hamster either in her ball or her wheel for 15 minutes.

Food and water

When I feed my hamster I fill up her little dish to the top and wait till it's about ½ or ¼ down then I refill it. Also you can give your hamster little treats 2 or 3 times a week. For water I give my hamster fresh water every day in a little dish. You can also give your hamster lettuce, strawberry, carrot and cucumber. But you cannot give your hamster cauliflower or broccoli because it makes them gassy!

Health Care

When your hamster is sick you can tell if their tail is wet. Also is they're not eating.

In the summer if your hamster is not drinking you should put mineral and salt blocks in their cage so they will lick and munch on it and it will make them thirsty.

Pet laws

When you open your hamster's cage make sure you remember to close it or your hamster will get out. Always have food and water in your hamsters cage at all times or else your hamster might be dead or get really sick. Your hamster should at least be fed a veggie or a fruit 2 times a week.

Something about my hamster

One thing that's unique about my hamster is when I call her she immediately comes out of her little house and sits and stares at me then she'll go back in and sleep. When she goes back into sleep I have purple bed fluff for her and she will rest her head on it and I can still see her then she'll fall asleep.
