The causes of divorce

What would you do if you were in the middle of conflict with your partner? I think it would be many choices to solve your conflict with your partner. One of the choices is getting divorce as a solution for many couples nowdays, but are you aware the causes of divorce? According to the statistics offered by INEGI in a survey practiced in 2005, the divorce rate has increased up to 70%. The increase of divorce rate is caused by three main causes which are different love language, lack of commitment, and not completing each others.

Firstly, different love language is one of the main causes of divorce if couple failed to recognize. According to Dr. Gary Chapman, everyone had a love language, a primary way of expressing and interpreting love. For example, it is important for some people to hear the words, "I love you", but for others, it is useless to say without any real action. This condition make then unable to express their feeling in appropriate way.

If couple could not express about their feeling, then it will no more information could be shared between couple, like happiness and sadness.

In that situation, couple could not express their love because they do not know how to make their partner feel happy anymore.

They will not be able to share about anything to their partner.

Secondly, another cause of divorces is lack of commitment. According to research, commitment to the relationship is related to the quality of the relationship (Clements and Swensen, 2000). The higher of level commitment that you have then your relationship become stronger. The stronger relationship that you have then will decrease divorce rate.

Finally, another cause of divorces is couple can not complete each other. While conflict is destroying couple then relationship could not completing each other. If couple could take a role as partner, then the relationship would end into divorce.

In conclusion, divorce is caused by three main causes which are different love language, lack of commitment, and not completing each others.
