The USA, as well as the other high-developed countries, are considered to suffer from a spectacular moment of concern due to the reason that the driverless vehicles have already become a great part of the mainstream discussions. The numerous experts, especially those who work in the areas of legislation, design, engineering, entrepreneurship, and, of course, policy-making, intend to determine the potential influence of the autonomous vehicles. This means that the identification of such impacts regarding the ethical, privacy, theoretical, and safety perspectives seems to be an actual topic to investigate and discuss.

To begin with, a large number of researchers focused their surveys mostly on the ethics aspects due to the implementation of the relevant experiment, called “the trolley problem.” This means that despite there are some variations regarding this problem, it must be necessary to pay attention to the potential scenario when a vehicle is predicted to run over a particular group of individuals (Greenemeier, 2016). Therefore, a person who watches such an event is obliged to choose between the intervention to sacrifice one individual for the good of the relevant group or to protect this individual due to the expense of a group. After all, the driverless cars cannot possess the same cognitive capabilities which the humans have (The Associated Press, 2017).         Furthermore, it must be important to explore the development of the driverless vehicles industry regarding the privacy issues; for instance, an autonomous vehicle is often regarded as a big data-gathering machine due to the fact that deals with the collection of the personal information related to passengers (Lari, Douma, & Onyiah, 2015). In addition, the producers of the driverless cars admit that privacy is crucial, which can be proved by their cooperation with the federal government; however, no one desires to agree that the specific mandatory standards must be applied (Boeglin, 2015). On the other side, the different experts believe that the prospect for mandating the fundamental standards for the customer privacy is quite essential for autonomous cars.

What about the influences of the driverless vehicles regarding the theoretical perspective, it can be possible to indicate that there is a significant lack of the appropriate understanding for the discussed cars among people (Nees, 2016). During the recent years, the automobile industry has developed a relevant trend toward the mobility services; therefore, the manufacturers are completely aware of autonomous cars being eager to stimulate and expand this tendency. On the other hand, the particular manufacturers have spent the very little effort to provide the potential consumers with the efficient operations related to the operation of the driverless cars, their maintenance, or even the regulatory environment (Hars, 2017).

Finally, the safety perspective regarding the use of the autonomous vehicles is greatly connected with the fact that the increase in the utility of the human work is predicted to result in the reduction of the car accidents. Moreover, due to the reason that the autonomous vehicle may deliver the consumers with the appropriate safety, the relevant technology also provides the humans with an opportunity to perform the other important tasks safely while the car is performing the driving tasks (Wagner & Koopman, 2015).
