This article presents an interview with a writer called Dan Mathews . In his new book, he brags some extreme views about protecting animals. He even declares he'd rather go naked than wear fur .Some people criticize his sensationalism, but he thinks he should go too far instead of just far enough to get public attention. He hopes after people read his book, they will finally find out how people are insensitive about animal issues.

Since it is an interview, the author's response is not very organized, but the author basically expresses his views , even some very impractical. Otherwise, the reporter's questions is delicate .To be honest, the interview is not very impressive ,it is hard to get the point what he wrote in his new book., even the interview's headline is so shocking.

This letter is about a reader's options about people gathering to protest for animal rights. The author read the article about people parading outside the an upper west side apartment, which prompted her to write this letter. She agrees with the actions, but she thinks they are not effective. She believes the movement has advanced a lot due to people's protests, but the slaughtering of animals still exists just because it is benefits the minority, such as some fur businessmen and the designers working for fashion. As long as government bans the transaction of fur, many animals will be saved.

The author expresses her view using a very brief letter. Even though the letter is short , it is very organized and delicate. The tone is a little intense, but not very violent, but the author just tried to calm down.

This article discusses the how white seals are killed by people in Canada. There is a picture attached in the article. The picture is about some people are hitting seals on the ice, the scene is very bloody. The author thinks the picture is very satiric. Even though the Canada government already banned slaughtering the seals, many businesses use all kinds of excuses to kill the lovely lives. The Ottawa government officer even denied that the blood slaughter on the ice is acceptable. In fact, it is illegal.

The author uses contrast to uncover what the government did , and what they said is paradoxical. At the beginning of the article , the author illustrates the law was passed in the1980s; in the middle of the article, we find the government and the corporation are
