Introduction

In today's technological world Party Plates needs to establish a competitive approach in the marketplace with an innovative approach to the technology trends that exist while utilizing marketing tools to advance sales, goals and objectives. This is why Party Plates is updating their business to a more advanced style of technological products. Party Plates want to create an environment where our sales and marketing team can interact with customers to collaborate, experiment, and set in motion actionable items to maximize local, area, and regional efforts to attain corporate goals. We are interested in incorporating a few wireless technology items to assist with the business in hopes of operating more effectively and efficiently for our customers. Although updated to newer technology does have its advantages as well as disadvantages, our goal is that the advantages will outweigh the disadvantages and propel our company to increased productivity and faster service for our clients.

The two products we are introducing to our staff are laptop computers and wireless mobile iPhones. Currently, the office is equipped with desktop computers that allow us to order merchandise and retrieve our clients' information. The landline phones keep us tethered to the office while business is being conducting. The implementation of wireless products will expand our ability to be able to conduct business in a variety of different locations, such as at home, in our automobiles, and perhaps while on vacation if the business demands. The goal to the upgrade is to be able to connect with our clients 24 hours a day; no matter where we are or what time of day it is.

We are all aware of how wireless technology has come a long way with regards to making a company more efficient. Our plan is to streamline cellular phones and laptop computers so that Party Plates will work effectively. Cell phones are no longer just for making personal phone calls. With an iPhone, sales associates can send orders directly from the customer to the distribution centers, so they will be able to confirm an order quicker. This new process will speed up the order taking process and help Party Plates to service the customer faster than ever.

With the use of laptop computers, employees can work from virtually anywhere. If they are in the office, there is no need for thousands of wires to be hung everywhere. The office environment can be neat and organized. If they need to travel,
