Cell phones are the center of the world for young people. I just don't understand why teachers can text in lass but students can't even bring a cell phone to school. I say that students should be able to at least bring a cell phone to school. We the students know that cell phones can be used for many things besides texting, listening to music, and playing games. We know that they can be used for emergency reasons too. Students should be allowed at all schools around the world.

First, cell phones should be allowed for emergency reasons. For example, if the school caught on fire. If I had my cell phone I could call my mother and tell her. If I didn't call her, I could have gotten burned if the building was to explode. Another is what if people from Iraq and Afghanistan started shooting at our school. I could have gotten shot I didn't call my mother.

Next, you might need a ride home one day. What if your parent forgets to pick you up from school? You could call your parent before you go to extended day camp. Maybe you are at the bus stop and your van leaves you there. You could call your mom or dad instead of waiting until they realize that you are not at the camp.

Last but not lease, you can use your phone help people out in fights. Say a girl got jumped by nine boys. Someone could video tape it and show a teacher what happened. That could help identify who got jumped. Maybe you even show the police.

The world would be a horrible place without cell phones. With the emergencies we have this world today it is a horrible place; cell phones will always be necessary. Without them the world would not exists. See, cell phones should be allowed for these reasons and many more.
