Week Two Discussion Questions

1) What are some of the types of electronic commerce? How are they used today?

* Some types of electronic commerce is B2B (Business-to-Business), B2C (Business-to-Consumer), C2B (Consumer-to-Business)

* The business-to-consumer (B2C) e-commerce is used by business entities to sell the products and services to the general people or end users. The user can visit the website to see different products available and can make orders.

* The consumer-to-consumer (C2C) e-commerce is also a common type.

* The type of commerce is mostly used in online auctions, where someone displays his/her items to sell and someone who wants to purchase the items offers to bid online.

* Such things like PayPal, Amazon.com, and EBay are where they would do this.

2) Do you think social networking tools can be relevant in the workplace? Why do you think this?

* I do believe that some tools can be relevant in the workplace such as LinkedIn, Skype, etc. because then it saves money on such things as meeting clients in such places in japan or Japan. You can talk to them face to face.

* I think the downfall is the fact that information gets leaked out sometimes or you find yourself with viruses.

* Social networking has become a big part of big business and other places so either way no one is right and everyone has there opinion.
