Have you ever thought of how the world is made? Out of three different stories about how the earth is made, "Genesis 1," which is out of the bible, "The Wooden People," which is a Mayan myth, and "How the World is Made," A Cheyenne Myth. All stories of different ways people view how the Earth came to be such a marvelous place. The stories also describe how animals and humans got put onto this Earth. I have read an analyzed the similarities and differences in these three stories.

"Genesis 1," and "How the World Was Made." Stories were very similar, in both stories it was one man who made everything. In the beginning of both stories it started out with nothing and went on how everything eventually was made. It seemed to be much easier for God to make his world because all he had to do was state what he wanted put on Earth and it appeared. In the story the world was made the man with all the power needed help from the animals to make parts Earth.

"Genesis 1" and "How the World Was Made," were close enough stories to compare them to the story of "The Wooden People," together. Instead of having one majority being who has created everything as in Genesis and world was made, in the story of wooden people there are a few Gods so to speak who created earth and everything on it. The Mayans believed that wooden people were made first as attempt to make humans but the gods did not like it so they were destroyed and monkeys were created and evolved into human beings.

In the three stories it talks about creation of Earth and everything on it. There are three different views on how it all came to be. I grew up told the Story of Genesis so the other two stories of views on how Earth was made seem weird and don't see how any of that could have happened. Many people believe in no God, one God, and other people believe in multiple Gods, so based on where someone is from they will have a different view on how Earth was made. There is no wrong view on how Earth came to be because it cannot be proven so let everyone believe what they want to believe.
