Child Abuse - Mla Paper Format

Child Abuse takes place all over the entire world every day. With me working in a preschool, I see all types of different behaviors from children. You can defiantly tell the differences between the ones that are spoiled and then the ones that are treated like normal kids should be treated. I believe that your child should have punishment for things that they do wrong but I don't believe in harassment when kids really can't do things that are THAT bad. Believe it or not, there are a lot of different types of abuse out there. I'm going to inform you on three different types: physical, sexual, and emotional child abuse.

Physical abuse is the type that's noticeable; it deals with the skeleton like fractions, etc., also with skin like bruises and burns. It's the type that's pretty much the easiest too. When a kid does something wrong, your first reaction is to hurt, along the lines of spanking or pulling them by their arm, something along the lines of that. Then again there is parents out there that like to beat their kid just for the heck of it, due to anger problems, drug/alcohol problems, or possibly just hate problems. Some kids need to be spanked for doing wrong but there's a point where you stop and when they have had enough, unfortunately some kids just don't get that lucky. "Children who are physically abused are likely to receive bone fractures, particularly rib fractures, and may have a higher risk of developing cancer. Children who experience child abuse & neglect are 59% more likely to be arrested as juveniles, 28% more likely to be arrested as adults, and 30% more likely to commit violent crime" (Wikipedia. 2012).

Sexual Abuse could possibly be one of the worst types of abuse whether it's with a child or an adult, it's horrible either way. It's bad that there are people in this world that have minds like that. No offence to anyone, but men are really the most perverted things that were ever invented, even though there are some women out there that are just as bad. I don't understand how you can be a father to a child and think sexually about them and do sexual things to them or how you could mess around with younger girls, if you are older and want to meet them for sex and things like that. It really grosses me out that people have minds that think like that. But sadly enough it takes place all the time. There are all types of sexual abuse, not just sex, for example: "indecent exposure of the genitals to a child, displaying pornography to a child, actual sexual contact against a child, physical contact with the child's genitals, viewing of the child's genitalia without physical contact, or using a child to produce child pornography" (Wikipedia. 2012). "Approximately 15% to 25% of women and 5% to 15% of men were sexually abused when they were children"
