Norway's 9/11 Devastation

It was the eleventh of September when the peaceful country of Norwegians was devastated by a huge bombing which also included the explosion of hijacked helicopters. This incident must be very tragic for the reason that many people died and thousands of families were broken. Although their government has given financial support and medical assistance to the families of those who unfortunately died of the bombing, it still cannot replace or even bring back the lives of so many people because these are priceless and were also meant to be meaningful.

Moreover, it is not only the lives that were ruined; there were also buildings and other tall infrastructures that were destroyed by the 9/11 bombing. And this implies that if Norway is to be pictured a that time, many homeless Norwegians could be seen just walking around and hoping that they can still find at least one of their relatives alive. And aside from that, fear and shock could also be depicted from people's faces and must have been marked there forever because of the extreme fright that they have experienced.

Furthermore, this incident is really dreadful for everyone most especially for the Norwegians because despite of the fact that Norway is known for being a peaceful country, it was still bombarded by terrorists and has cause their state's temporary downfall. And as a contradiction to all those negatives, this bombing can also be considered somehow positive when it comes to the aspect of security because after the said tragedy, Norway has become aware of the possible attacks of terrorism and the country's military defense has also improved to give its citizens a high quality of protection.

Concurrently, Prince William, the present leader of England is expected to have ideas or ways on how to prevent further the threats of terrorism most especially because England has a great possibility of being attacked by notorious groups of terrorists for the reason that its location just like Norway's is also open to assaults.

Lastly, the 9/11 bombing in Norway could be considered as an eye opener to other countries worldwide because it has only proved that any country whether rich, powerful, peaceful or not, has still the risk of being terrorized for the fact that terrorism knows no country because terrorists are narrow -minded people; they only believe in the ideology which just flourished because of their desperate desire for power and money.
