Cupcakes Promotions

Abstract

This research is focused on the tools of sales promotion.

The purpose of this week's assignments is to develop a detailed strategy. Now that the issues are resolved and systems are all in place to keep up with increasing demand. I will develop a detailed strategy using a variety of tools for promoting the product and the bakery to increase sales.

This research will provide details about the tools of sales promotion.

I will use 4 steps to explain how I was able to get to the main focus of this essay and that is to promote the product of my cupcake bakery. I will explain each steps and will be able to focus more on the last step to explain the detail strategy used to promote the product and how to increase the sales of my bakery.

I am going to make a sales plan for achieving my objectives of promoting my cupcakes. I will use steps to help me develop a sales plan for my business:

1. Identify my target market: I will have to focus on who would want to buy my cupcakes. Is the person interest allergic to any of the ingredients I use? Should I focus on age?

Once I focus on who I think would want to buy cupcakes I will move to the next step.

2. Look at my product: I should look at other companies to see the similarly to mine, and compare how would my cupcakes be able to compete with other companies that sell cupcakes. I will check as well what do the consumers like to buy most, is it chocolate cupcakes, or vanilla, is it with frosting or without.

3. Develop my sales strategies: In my sales strategy I will determine what goals to I want to reach, how could I get more sales from costumers I already have, and how can I captor more possible buyers for my cupcake store. Here in this step I should focus too If I should need more people.

4. I will think through my sales plan. This is where I will focus on if I should use publicity, advertising. I will divide potential customers into discrete groups, I have to know who I want to give the message to, I need to know who my potential customers are.

Once I have an idea of the customers I will focus my publicity in, I will further drill down to explore more the details. I need to know what are the media consumption habits, I need to know as well which are the priorities to pick a chocolate cupcake or a vanilla one, is it the flavor or the way it is decorated. I need to know how much income do the person I want to capture their attention have.
