Understanding Personalities

This personality assessment document states the outcome of a personality typing test. The document gives a brief description of what the assessment measures, how accurately the assessment portrayed style and why. Discuss how the outcomes of the assessment, employees, or subordinates; or how it may have affected relationships with prior colleagues.

Jung typology is the personality typing assessment that was test was used. The test consists of elements from Carl Jung and Isabel Briggs Myers typological approach to personality. Carl Jung classifies individuals using three criteria such as extra version - introversion, sensing - Intuition and thinking - feeling, Isabel Briggs Myers has single criteria such as judging-perceiving (Joe Butt, 2005).

Taking the Jung Typology test, shows a formula with quantitative measurements of the four criteria preferences strengths of when the formula is obtained with preferences of strengths. My personality type is determined and can be used to understand my general life-style when communication, displaying feelings, conflicts, along with making career choices. The test results stated my type is with preferences of the strength 1% extroverted, 38% intuitive, 38% thinking, and 78% judging (ENTJ).

According to my personality results, I have the personality to lead and direct with minimum encouragement to make goals. ENJI's are often "larger than life" In describing their projects or proposals. This ability may be expressed as salesmanship, storytelling facility, or standup comedy (Joe Butt, 2005). I am also decisive meaning I know requirements to accomplish goals, and often delegate control to others. When challenged, I have the tendency to be relaxed and become argumentative.

The assessment was very close to portraying my style. The most accurate relates to working as a leader or director. My future goal is to start my own business, which requires those characteristic and skills as a director or manager. The ability to express as a salesman or story telling facility isn't accurate. I never had a sales job and not good at selling. The assessment is about 70% accurate with my style.

The fourth criteria judging - perceiving is accurate. Planning is a primary function in my life. Executing my plans according is critical. The third criteria is also accurate, to make decisions mostly through logic. If I can't make sense of a solution, I may choose an alternative.

The outcome of the assessment will affect my place of employment in a positive perspective, understanding my type of personality assist in better communication with managers, employees, or coworkers. The assessment shows what areas within the organization that would most likely succeed or what career path to choose. Understanding these concepts allows me to become a better manager, employee, or leader because the position would
