Breakfast - Why Is It So Important?

It is said that “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.” Do people really believe  this? If so, what makes breakfast so important? There are so many breakfast options, does an  individuals’ breakfast choice affect the importance they place on the meal? All of these questions  revolve around an individual’s feelings towards breakfast as a meal and how it fits into their  lives. Those that describe themselves as morning people will probably consider breakfast the  most important meal and therefore will choose larger more complex meals as opposed to those  who don’t believe breakfast is that important. Prior to doing this research assignment I always believed that most people would prefer a  quicker, fast or on the go breakfast like a sandwich or something mobile.  In order to complete this  research assignment I took two days out of my schedule to wake up early enough to make a trip to the  office of the company where my older cousin works. He drives tractor trailers for a living and most of  these guys are up very early in the in order to get their route covered or started before the roads get  crowded with traffic. So I figured that this would be the perfect place to do my research. Obviously to me, going someplace that people are up early in the morning would be the place for me to get some sort  of average to accurate research.
