The relationship between free markets and individual liberty is a "freedom" for anyone with any idea to compete in the arena of the free market to magnetize and maintain for the purpose of profit. American discoverer who practiced their liberty and freedom to trade utilized this type of relationship. It is assured by the constitution to pursue their dreams and happiness. This view is reaffirmed by The Founding Fathers that they believed "Every man, as long as he does not violate the laws of justice, is left perfectly free to pursue his own interest his own way, and bring both his industry and capital into competition with those of another man, or order of men" (American Vision and Value pg 221). Free market is designed for every American to have the freedom to choose to shop, negotiate, trade, and spend their money anywhere they choose to go. If they believe that the prices are too high at one place, they can make a choice to go somewhere else and pay for product at a cheaper price, or alternatively they could barter like the founding father did. They should not be interfered with by anyone including the government; this includes restrictions on their individual negotiation. According to Howard Buffett's publication, The Economic Foundation of Freedom, he stated, "It gave government new powers over the economic statues of the individual. This change has curtailed the ability of the individual to achieve economic independence."(Kirk Patrick Signatures Series, pg.600). In my opinion, as of today, our economy is still having a strong relationship between Free Markets and Individual Liberty. Today we live in a world where individuals or any company have the freedom to go to any store and purchase anything they would like, or go to a foreign country and build a U.S-based manufactures for cheaper labor costs. This activity has an impact to our economy, such as loss of jobs for manufacture workers, and the effect is immensely affecting individuals' standpoint of a free market. This freedom to market, sell, and trade is guaranteed, and is getting more difficult to control by the government. As Karl Marx states " by freedom is meant, under the present bourgeois conditions of production , free trade, free selling and buying".(KPSS pg 594).

I have the same opinion with this act of individual liberty. It gives information concerning the chance of Capitalism; and as an end result, individuals are free to own property, permitted to earn money to make a profit, as well as keep their earnings. It is a free and intentional choice that people make within a free market that will agree on what each of us will earn for whatever it is we may do," and such freedom, with countless individuals pursuing what each other believes to be his or own happiness, will bring into being not only enormous prosperity, but incredible cooperation and harmony".(pg 204).
