This Tiger Woods Nike Commercial is not an advertisement for Nike products, but an advertisement about Nike's choice of brand endorsers. The advertisement is not a public apology by Tiger Woods, it a commercial controlled by Nike. The company needed to allow him to be punished on their air time, to show that they did not agree with his actions. This advertisement is very controversial, many people have different views about it but I feel that Nike just wanted everyone to believe that Tiger Woods was sorry.

The advertisement is short, it gets to the point and clearly has a view of disagreeing with Tiger Woods actions. It is able to get to the point quickly and clearly because of the approach the advertisement takes. As a fan, you may be biased to Tiger and feel that he is turning the situation around and apologizing for his actions. I personally don't see this at all because he didn't say anything in this clip.

Key words in this commercial such as promote discussion, questions of thought, and feeling, give the viewer a chance to make up their own mind about Tiger Woods actions. The commercial leaves us with the question for Tiger "Did you learn anything?" this makes it seem like he needs to think about his actions and how
