After I watched "Saving the Bay," I think San Francisco Bay is an amazing place for living. The weather is good, the water is clean, and many kinds of flowers and fruit are growing there in long time ago. But the bay was starting to change, because of many people were living in the bay, factories were building up very fast, and lots of houses were building. Moreover, people lived in the bay also make lots of trash and destroy our environment.

From the video, we could see the bay has very natural weather, environment and water before 100 years. The bay had very clear water which we could see the ocean and the sky's color were the same. It was very clear blue. But in these 30 years, the environment in the bay becomes worse. The people live in the SF bay were destroying the environment. Because of the economic is growing up that many businesses are opening. Companies need more factories which were sending out many poison gases. All of gases sent out from factories were destroying our environment.

In addition, more and more people were moving to the bay that we were need lots of houses. The number of the population is increase, but the place is limited that people began cutting trees and replenishing the ocean. All of these were environment become worse. To drive is most people's vehicle. So, most people at least have one car for their family and some of them would drive every day. However, the car would release exhaust gas and it is hurting the atmospheric. In order to build houses that people cut many trees, although, the trees can use to clean the air. Yet the forests are decreasing that the atmospheric pollution is increasing and vey graveness. In addition to air pollution, there is very serious water pollution in the bay, too. And factories are not only releasing the poison gases, they also emission the polluted water. Many lakes and oceans had become contaminated with those polluted water. Polluted water was making the water pollute and water's temperature increase that lots of sea animals were die. We should feel thankful to the three women in the East Bay hills, who told us to saved the Bay is not only compelling in its own right, but offers an invaluable lesson about how ordinary citizens can have an impact on protecting and enhancing our natural environment.

Even the people hurt the earth so bad, but the natural disasters are harming the earth. From January 1st to present, there are many times earthquake in the wide world. But in 1989, the earthquake in San Francisco, it destroyed many houses; the people become homeless, and the bay bridge.

We have only one San Francisco Bay; it's our duty to protect the environment. But now the environment is getting worse and worse. It is necessary for us to take some actions to prevent the environment from being polluted. We shouldn't spit and throw litter in public. We should keep our Bay clean and tidy. And remember to turn off the lights
