Conclusion

In this lab I learned about Variation, Variation's make individual's of the spices, in this case pepper moths, the variation of the pepper moths were there color, light gray and dark gray. Before the year 1845 in the city Manchester England light gray peppered moths lived in a forest. Due to variation within the moth's spices some moths were darker because of random mutation. They would cling on to the bark of the tree that was light gray to camouflaging themselves from birds their predators. Around the year 1845, Manchester was becoming more industrialized, with factories pouring black coal smoke into the air. The pollution went into the surrounding turning the bark of the tree darker gray. As a result the population of they light and dark gray pepper moths shifted and the population of dark gray moths grew wile the population of the light gray decreased which also has to do with the "survival of the feudist"

In this lab I also learned about Adaptation: the action of adapting. I learned that, because of the new life style of some of the pepper moths they have to adapt to there new way of camouflaging from hiding from there predictors which brigs us to another thing I learned in this lab its call Natural selection: when an organism better adapts to there environment and makes more offspring. (Like the off spring of the dark pepper mother set more offspring) an example of this would be on Charles Darwin while coming up with his theory so famously know as the theory of evolution

He also gave an example on natural selection during his study this is when Charles notices finches on the land and observed closely he noticed that the finches with the more pointy beaks ate fruit and the finches with the more narrow break were to eat nuts and did an experiment what if there were a bunch of pointy beak finches and a small amount of narrow finches the experiment concluded that because there were more finches with pointy beaks and less with narrow the population of the pointy beaked finches would be gone In that area because there wasn't enough food to go around not feeding the whole flock but there was a smaller amount of the narrow beaked finches and enough food to go around were there was still some food left over so if that certain nut were to go out for a while it could have time to repopulate itself in not be eaten so suddenly
