The Whispering Willows

Ever since I was a kid I would love to admire everything nature had to offer. Whether that was from enormous nerve-racking fish swimming in the ocean’s depths, to trees waving briskly in the wind. As time flew by I was gradually becoming a nature fanatic. Eventually I would beg my mother to take me to the many colored fulfilled parks, trails, and even my grandmother’s house. But when it came down to making that decision on where I would want to go after school I would always say, “Grandma’s house”. This was because my Grandma’s yard was filled with fluffy bushes, mighty tall redwood trees, delicate little flowers and much more.

Excited and joyful from the presence of Skippy, I would jump and squirm from the tingling sensation that would shoot up my leg from his wet moist tongue that would sling itself back and forth from his mouth to my lower leg. I would eventually bend over and return the love by stroking his silky golden brown head back and forth while giving him a thorough belly rub.

After giving Skippy love, I bolted to my grandmother's bright red door that had two diagonal lines that were symmetrical to each other on the top left and right hand side, along with the perfect golden spherical door knob all the way on the left in the center of the door. After entering my grandmother’s house and saying hello I rushed for the back screen door that lead to the backyard and looked up to the majestic redwoods that towered over me. The three redwoods were next to one another and were on top of a little hill in the form of a triangle,
