U.S. Justification

United states was completely justified in entering the war with Germany. They had people who planned it for the war, had people ready for it, and had Americans who went to war for rights, many people who got forced to go. Moral reasons were not our only motives for entering World War 1. They also involved finance and economics and politics.

One of the main reason was moral beliefs people had. United states had people who were showing their opinions about the war. In woodrow wilson's proclamation, woodrow wilson, the president of america talks about what united states contained of which shows he believes in them. Document 9 and 12, german violations affected american lives, and these made american people toward the commanders of germany's under sea corsairs and that they could keep out of the war with germany if they keep out of the war with great britain. Document 13, and 14, some people had moral beliefs. They will fight for human rights and balanced civilizations.

Zimmerman Telegram in document 10, they intended to begin the unrestricted submarine warfare that has involved sinking passengers with American citizen on board and Zimmerman note stated that war on the United states, Germany would help mexico regain all its lost territory. During the war us was still trading with britain, but when germany declared unlimited submarine warfare, some of the trading vessels and merchants' ships would get destroyed, causing death and the loss of the income to both countries. US had a strong reason politically to enter into war with germany due to their corrupt actions. Document 6 and 11, many people went to war by forced, which made american soldiers increase. Senator george norris in document 11, he defends the side of the soldiers, and that war brings prosperity to the gangs not the patriotic citizens.
