INTRODUCTION

We developed the computerized system software as project on 'UNIVERSITY ADMISSION SYSTEM' for University . This software works for the admission of a university very effectively and fast in very short time.

Our project on ADMISSION SYSTEM for a university helps the university or the college to maintain and manage the students records efficiently and generate accurate admission report for the students. We know in the big colleges there are a lot of students, they come to the college, take the admission and pay the fees. In university the function of admiting and managing students manually becomes difficult task. Also it is very time consuming task. So many students are there with various types of information. they take admission and pay the fees. The person at the head of admission system checks the details and confirm the admission. This job becomes difficult when there are more number of students. Also, it becomes difficult for the person to keep all the details of students manually and then find out the records of each student separately whenever required and the task becomes very time consuming.

So to overcome these problems, we developed the software as it is very fast. In our system there will be Administrator or Valid operator who will control the overall system and the software will automatically generate database by inserting details for the students. It is very easier task than to do that manually and all that. To have this the university should only have one computer,printer and the operator for the computer and the software reduce the human effort for the admission purpose and the university head and the student will also be satisfied and happy. Hence our computerized system is as per the requirements and effectively fulfilling the requirements.

PROBLEM DEFINITION

Manually Admission system for a university or college becomes very difficult job. As there is increase in number of students, the response time will also be increased. It will become very time consuming practice. However so far if we take in concern the person who is there for the admission function he has to check the details of selected students and the number of students admited and accordingly he has to generate the admission card for that student. Now each time when the student approaches to the university for admission he has to do the same job repeatedly. That means he has to do the same work redundantly for
