Discuss the crux of the case and analyze each verbatim content that to understand the dynamic behavioral process in transaction.

        From this case study, there are few Organization Behavior perspective. To start with, are Attitude and occupation fulfillment. Disposition is the assessment explanations that either positive or ominous about articles, individuals, or occasions. They reflect how we feel about something. Regularly, inquires about accept mentalities have three components that are Cognitive component, Affective component and Behavioral component. Cognitive component is a state of mind that a portrayal of a man who acts to faith in way things happened. For instance, when a worker gets a low compensation for work, they will acknowledge the reality with no outrage. Moreover, Affective component is the enthusiastic or emotions fragment of a demeanor reflected in the announcements, "I am furious over how little I'm paid." For instance, worker grumbles to manager or associates about his/her compensation with much outrage or awful disposition. The behavioral component depicts an expectation to carry on a specific path toward somebody or something-as in "I will search for another activity with higher pay.        

In this case study, the main point of the case is about the perception that affects the decision making process. The perception in this case study is about candidates towards the HR department of Camco Stello. When the candidates get to know each other and sharing their experience they notice that out of the 14 candidates, 4 of them was local from Kanataka. So, by the time they get the result list of the interview that all 4 candidates that was chosen by the HR department was local and they quickly came to an conclusion that Camco Stello will only hire local only although the result was just a coincident. Besides, the candidates that are waiting for the afternoon session have also left because of the news spread out by other candidates and have the perceptive of the company will only consider local candidates.

Do you feel that perception is a factor that influences decision making process?

        Perception is an intellectual process of transforming sensory stimuli to meaningful information. It is the process of interpreting something that we see or hear in our mind and use it later to judge and give a verdict on a situation, person, group etc. The perception is the factor that will influence the process of decision making because people’s behaviour is mainly based on their perception of what reality is, not on reality itself, it is possible that two persons can see the same thing and interpret it differently. Furthermore, there are some factors that affect perception and hence, it affects decision making process which includes selective perception, Halo effect, Contrast effect and Stereotyping. First, Selective Perception is where people selectively interpret what they see that rely on the basis of their interest, background, experience, and attitudes. This factor allow people to instantly judge others but not without the risk of drawing an in accurate picture. Hence, people’s decision will be impaired by wrong perception. Secondly, Halo Effect happen when people are drawing a general impression about an individual based on a single characteristic and it will negatively affect their decisions. Besides, Contrast Effects is an evaluations of a person’s characteristics that are affected by comparisons with other people recently encountered who rank higher or lower on the same characteristics so this factor will also affects decisions quality. Lastly, Stereotyping happen when someone is judging others on the basis of one’s perception of the group to which that person belongs. People often rely on generalizations every day because they help them make decisions quickly. They are a means of simplifying a complex world. This will affect decision making process.

How does perception influence individual’s reactive behavior?                

Perception is the result of processing of information received by individuals regarding various events around them. It involves the organization of inputs through a dynamic inner process which shapes all that comes in from the outside environment. This information processing approach rests on the assumption that a person’s perceptions of another person are based on the information available about the person and how one uses this information. Various researches on perception revealed that quite often a perceiver uses his or her own race or sex stereotypes to assume certain things about another person. The individual, while perceiving the world, provides a picture that expresses his or her own individual view of reality. This may differ from the reality. The study of the difference between the perceptual world and the real world is of great significance in organizational behaviour. Since the behaviour of an individual at work is the product of the individual’s perceptions, it is important for a manager not only to understand his or her own perceptions but also the perceptions of his or her subordinates, to create a situation under which their behaviour might improve.

In addition, there are several individual differences that influence people reactive behaviour such as personality, gender, mental ability, cultural different and nudging. While many factors influence perception, one of the most influential determinants is an individual’s personality. Psychologists use the concept in a neutral, universal sense in terms of what characterizes an individual. Although there are a variety of definitions of personality, an underlying theme is consistency, the similarity of responses a person makes in different situations.
