How to Care for Dogs

Caring for dogs is very easy, there is just 4 simple steps you need to follow. The first step is always give your dog fresh water. I usually change my dogs water bowl three times a day and as a added bonus I add ice cubes to make the water even colder. The next thing is food. Every living thing needs food, and so do dogs! I feed my dog dry dog food because it's better for their teeth and won't cause so much tar buildup like most wet dog foods do, don't get me wrong but occasionly I feed my dog one pouch of wet dog food! The next thing in caring for a dog is hygiene. Hygiene is important because if your dog is bathe he or she can acquire fleas or even ticks so it's important to keep them well bathe, especially if your dog stays and sleeps inside! I try to bathe my dog every week unless she gets muddy or dirty from being outside. The fourth thing to remember is just like humans dogs get sick as well, so it's important to take them to your local vet so they can get a check up to see just how healthy your dog is. Also it's important to take your dog to the vet so they can get vaccinated against common illnesses which include but are not limited to rabies and parvovirus. Don't forget dogs love to run so it's also important to keep your dog well exercised especially if you keep them inside because they don't get as much exercise as normal dogs who are kept outside would get! Now theses are the fundamentals in caring for a dog! So adopt care and love your dog!
