Julius Caesar "Stabbed in the Back"

Julius Caesar has been "stabbed in the back" many times. His pride got in the way to even notice it or even see any of the obvious warnings. One example of him being betrayed was when the tribunes, Flavius and Marullus undecorated the statue and talked bad about Caesar to the commoners. They did get punished for their actions. Another example would be when Cassius talks behind his back. He was talking about how weak Caesar was and said he wasn't worthy of becoming king. He made a plot to kill Caesar on the ides of March. The soothsayer warned Caesar to beware of the ides of March, but he did not listen.

The third example of Caesar being stabbed in the back would be when Brutus got involved in the plot to kill Caesar. Brutus was someone Caesar really trusts and he would have never thought he would have ever done anything to harm him. When Brutus actually stabbed him at the Capitol, he said the words, "Et tu Brute?", because he was surprised and shocked. I think he was one of the last people that Caesar would have ever thought would have betrayed him. He must have felt really hurt inside.

I remember when I got stabbed in the back my one of my friends. It was not even half as bad as what happened to Caesar. I got really hurt from it, so I could not even imagine how Caesar must have felt before he died. My friend's name was Susie. Susie was one of my best friends or at least I thought she was. I told her almost all of my secrets, because I trusted her so much.

I asked Susie why she did that, and she told me that she did not tell anybody. As the day went on, more and more people kept talking about it. It was really getting on my nerves, so I asked another friend of mine who told her. She told me it was Susie. I felt betrayed and hurt. I never thought Susie would ever lie to my face and stab me in the back.

I realized that Susie was not a true friend. A lot of people say you should always forgive and forget, but I always say "remember and revenge". That is exactly what I did. I acted like I did not know what she had done and pretended to be her friend again. I found out who her little crush was and I did not tell everyone about it. I actually told a girl she did not like who her crush was, and that girl told everyone. Susie asked me if I did it, and I told her I did. At least I told her the truth.

After that day, we did not even look at each other for a whole week. It would have been longer, but Susie could not
