What I take away......

This Life of Christ course was very interesting. I began to understand things differently when it came to reading the Gospels on my own. Then looking at what others thought about certain stories that were written in the Gospels. Because of this course I am going to have a better outlook on life because of how I was affected or changed by the course, what I learned, and things that surprised me.

How I have been affected or changed by the studies over the past eight weeks of taking this course. I have a better understanding of who Jesus Christ was. I was able to read for myself and understand what Jesus really wanted from the people. How he wanted me to live my life. Being brought up in the church, you hear over the years so many people talk about the bible. Most of which with the same story of the bible interpret it in many different ways depending on what they were going through in their lives, but by me reading the bible for myself over these past eight week I have been able to really get my own understanding and increase and enhance my own personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

What I learned from this course is that Jesus was a very humble man that did not want any recognition for his work that he was born to do. He knew the plan for his life and for that he kept on spreading the good news about God and preforming miracles for many people who followed his teachings. In these performances he wanted to change the minds also of the people who did not believe in God. Also, I learned that some of the people reaction to Jesus was that they really followed him and obeyed him. They seemed to have the so much faith in him. After more and more miracles that he performed on the people that brought so many more sinners to come to follow him. They to became believers and full of faith because they realized that he was capable of performing the task that he said he would perform. I think that I would have reacted as the people did. At first I would have been a little weary because I would not have known him but, if I have grown up with the teachings about having faith in God and he came to spread the good news of God I would have followed after seeing the miracles he performed Things that surprised me in these teachings are the many differences in the synoptic gospels. There were many similarities and differences in the same story. Each book told the same story but was different because of the minor details. I learned to look at the bigger picture instead of the details.

What I will remember about this course is being able to really sit down and read the bible with an open mind. I never really taught to just evaluate each verse to see what it was really talking about and what Jesus wanted the people to know. With, a new understanding of the bible and things to look for I am able to do that for myself. This was a great course and I really believed that at this
