Living Life In Accordance With the Eightfold Path

There are many different religions in the world today, all of which have different beliefs and practices that have existed for centuries. The Buddhism religion which is ranked the fourth largest religion in the world has been around since 528 B.C.E. when its founder Siddhartha Gautama reached enlightenment. Gautama went through many self struggles to reached enlightenment, but when he finally did, he was determined to teach others on how they can experience and reach it for themselves. So Gautama developed the Eightfold Path which is a very important factor of the Buddhism religion. The Eightfold Path which consist of the Four Noble Truths, was and still is the foundation of the Buddhism religion. It played a very important role in the development and spread of the contemporary Buddhist sects, and continues to be the dhamma among the estimated 380 million Buddhist adherents in today's world.Living Life In Accordance With the Eightfold Path
