Man Attempted to Assassinate Obama

Twenty-one year old Idaho man Oscar Ramiro Ortega-Hernandez is accused of firing shots at the White House (Washington D.C.) on Friday (11/11/11). Including some that hit the building near the residence area where Obama and his family live. One bullet hit a window and was stopped by bulletproof glass, and another was found on the White House exterior according to the secret service. Investigators found a semi-automatic rifle, several boxes of ammunition and nine spent shell casing in a car owned by Ortega-Hernandez that was parked several blocks away on the lawn of the National Institute of Peace. Ortega-Hernandez was charged with attempted assassination. The charge carries a possible maximum penalty of life in prison and a $250,000 fine. Two witnesses saw shots fired toward the White House through the window of a car on Constitution Avenue. Ortega-Hernandez considered Obama the cause of his problems and referred to him at times as the "anti-Christ" and the devil according to three acquaintances cited in the complaint document.

I think this crime was committed because maybe Obama is an anti-Christ and this is a very religious man so he went crazy or he could have had a problem with Obama overall whether it is decisions that he made or something he knew about him that he had a problem with.

The forensics that could be used in this crime is they could look at the cracks on the windows and find out if the bullets came from the inside or the outside and from where the bullets was shot from. Also they could of taken the gun's serial number and traced the rifle back to the gunman.
