Giordano is a popular brand name comes from Hong Kong and through Gio Reo Company - as a wholesaler, their products are sold in Vietnam clothing market. According to "Vietnam's population hit 85.8 million", Vietnam is one of the top 3 countries which have the biggest population in ASIA. In addition, recently, the Vietnam's economic are growing dramatically, as a result of that; the Vietnamese standard living has reached a higher level. And because of those two opportunities, Vietnam has become a very good location for Giordano to develop their business.

Along with the integration of foreign fashion brands and latest styles, Vietnamese young people are adapting to international trends. As a result, they want to perform themselves and differentiate from their previous generations. Young people want to have stylish and special designs, beyond what are so familiar with them. Therefore, Chinese styles, which are appropriate with Asian models and have competitive prices could occupy growing market share in Vietnamese market.

Giordano has become a pioneer of customer service in the Asia-Pacific region (Dress Cloth, 2008). Upscale and yet not luxurious, and therefore have a strong appeal to middle-market consumers. Due to the fact that Giordano is based in the Asia-Pacific region, weather is warm--and usually--humid. Using this as a natural force advantage, Giordano supplies its customers with the right warm-weather-style at an above average, but affordable, cost while providing its employees with materials that would be highly affordable. Due to mainstream Giordano brand of Giordano Limited International sets up product objectives to have stable position in Vietnam fashion market, Giordano tries to create new fashionable styles to its target market among female and male customers for their T-shirt. The company focuses on selecting and delivering high quality of products with a lot of benefits at the most appropriate prices for young adult and middle-aged people. Therefore, this is the reason why Giordano concentrates and analyzing on the below consumer market segments:

Ho Chi Minh City is known as the most important economic, technological, commercial, education and cultural centre in Vietnam, so urbanization trend has continued increase in the recent years because of attractiveness for job opportunities and living standard improvement of this city. As the result of this, population is rising dramatically. Through the statistical figure from General Statistical Office in 2008, the city's population represented about 7.7% of the total population of Vietnam. As the result, HCM city is considered as the highest population density metropolis in this nation. Therefore, the company permits retailer stores to expand their business in central districts of HCM City to exploit a lot of chances and potential for achievement
