1.0 INTRODUCTION

  1. BACKGROUND OF STUDY

Wi-Fi is a technology for wireless local area networking. Wi-Fi is a trademark of the Wi-Fi alliance, which restricts the use of the term Wi-Fi certified to product that successfully complete inter probability certification testing. Like in our University, there is Wi-Fi network connectivity that is easily accessible by all students. The Wi-Fi helps students providing internet  services for free and helps students in studies by  letting them search and study on internet. Students also get the chance to do online courses and the global English programs in the university itself by the use of internet available through the Wi-Fi. The ability to study where and what you want requires access to the internet and your study skills will be enhanced by using a wireless, Wi-Fi, connection to the internet. Wi-Fi must be important to search the information in order to finish any assignment or project among the students.

 


  1. OBJECTIVES OF STUDY

  • To study the level of satisfaction towards ATM services in UiTMCK.
  • To know whether the ATM places located in UiTMCK are strategic
  • To study which ATM services should be added in UiTMCK.
  • To know the common problem when using ATM services in UiTMCK

1.2 METHODOLOGY

2.1 DESCRIPTION OF DATA

POPULATION

Census is a study about the entire population. A survey id conducted by a group of students from D1BM1193A to study a research on Wi-Fi campus. The population of this survey are students from UiTM Macahang.

SAMPLE

Sample is study on sample which is subset of population. The subject of this study was 34 students of group D1BM1193A from UiTM Machang. The respondents of this survey consist of 13 male and 32 female from various faculty. Besides that, all of them are from part 2-5.

SAMPLING TECHNIQUE

We use stratified sampling to divided the population into several mutually exclusive strata and then randomly sample from each strata. The population is divided into strata such that unit within strata are homogeneous and between group heterogeneous. We assume we need a random sample of student from UiTM Macang population. We as a researcher on Wi-Fi networks services in UITM Kelantan Cawangan Machang. The students consist of different faculty which, business management/business administration 21 students (46.7%), science computer and mathematics 7 students (15.6%), art and design only 3 students (6.7%), accounting student also 3 student (6.7%) only, information management consist 5 student (11%) and last administrative science and policy student consist 7 students (13.3%  

DATA COLLECTION METHOD

From this survey data collection method that we use is direct questionnaire. We directly distributed the questionnaire to all members of D1BM1193A. We can personally communicated with the respondents and collected the questionnaires directly.

2.2 MEHOD OF ANALYSIS

Measured of Central Tendency

Mean

Mean is a measured of central tendency that is computed by taking the sum all data values, divided by the number of data.

Median

Median is a value that lies in the centre of the data where half (50%) of data are greater or equal to this value, and another half (50%) of the data are smaller or equal to this value. To determine the median, one has to arranged the data in ascending or descending order and then select the central value of the data as the median.

Mode

Mode is the value that occurs most frequently in a data set.

Measured of Position

First quartile, Q₁

25% of the data is less than first quartile value and 75% is more than first quartile value.

Second quartile, Q₂

50% of the data is less than second quartile value and 50% is more than second quartile value.

Third quartile, Q₃

75% of the data is less than third quartile value and 25% is more than quartile value.

Measured of Dispersion and Skewness

Interquartile range

Interquartile range is the different between the third and first quartile is a set of data.
