Since the beginning of time, mankind as a whole has always had an innate belief in a higher being, God. From the Ancient Greeks' mythological Gods to the current Creationist movement in America, the idea and belief in God has not faltered over time, why do so many people believe in something of which they have no concrete proof? In reality, I believe that faith in God has nothing to do with having proof of his existence; it is about intimate, deep and spiritual feelings that someone is either born with or gains through life experiences. Proof in life is to some the breath we take or the children we bare. As to others they have little or no regard to why we are here or how we got here. Being born into a religion is about the belief and background your family holds but some take the religion and emphasize it to a necessary evil and blame the evil on a negative form they call the Devil. It becomes an escape to right the wrong and way to transfer blame onto others. Emphasizing religion and holding onto the values we are raised with can be a fundamental part of life without negativity or harm. In my essay I have gone through different ways people present their faith to others as well as reasoning they have come up with on why they feel the way they do.

Philosophy is all about the way we study ideas and how we as a whole argue our values and belief in the topic. For thousands of years philosophers have been captivated by the prospect of answering the infamous question. Does God really exist? Plato and Aristotle started off the quest for the answer to this question,. Every philosopher has presented new ideas and theories each of these puts forward its own argument for the existence of God.

God is viewed in religions in several ways. We are all raised to believe in what we hold in our faith today. In this world we have many different backgrounds and many different religions, which enable us to view religion with a diverse society. Some people believe in what we call concrete truth as others feel their faith is proof enough. For many of us the reality of God and his true existence is null. But for others they have strong faith in scriptures that were written thousands of years ago.

Arguments for the existence of God come in many different forms, some draw on history, some on science on others on personal experiences as others in philosophical views. An argument for the existence of a perfect being and eternal creator is reason why we argue our beliefs. The Ontological Argument seeks the existence of God from the laws of logic alone. It argues that if we see a perfect being could be possible then we could not believe in his non-existence. A perfect being in this world exists if we believe in its existence in its entirety. Many religions force the knowledge of Church and State and how they shall not separate. They make up what we call Morality; what is right and what is wrong based upon the Bible and its teachings, this is what we call Moral laws. Such commands are a form of commands that dictate our behavior and guide us on what we should do. Moral values are something we cannot see or touch but it is something we feel. Although invisible they are important to some of our well beings to have a belief. "The idea behind the ontological argument is actually pretty simple. If we assume, which seems plausible, that the greatest possible being one can think of would deserve to be called "God," then the being we refer to using the name "God" would have to exist" (Mosser, 2010).

Growing up I was raised Catholic and to this day I still hold some values of the religion but do not believe in The Church. Although in many ways I still have much respect for the Church in others I feel that my faith does not need to be displayed weekly. My way of life is respectful according to the literature held by both Church and State. I do not entirely feel that some evils can be reconciled no matter how many times we repent from our sins, being a vicious human being can never be resolved in the eyes of God. It gives people the ability to commit a crime and not feel remorse after. I feel a lot of the teachings they enforce in Church are untrue to this life and should not allow a person to absolve his/her sins because they are sorry. Everyone experiences evil, it comes in many forms and plays many hardships upon life. We as humans experience pain, suffering, disease, disaster as well as death. These are all facts of life and are reasons we are on this earth. Whether it is because you believe in God, or Goddess, or even the "Big Bang Theory". Life has existed in one way or another and we should respect, honor and care for one another.

The bible references a statement of someone whom has no believe or faith; "The fool says in his heart, 'There is no God" (Psalm 14:1)." Since the vast majority of people throughout history, in all cultures, in all civilizations, and on all continents believe in the existence of some kind of God, there must be someone causing
