Textbook Summary

Throughout this course I learned various concepts that will help me throughout my education and professional career. My favorite amongst all the concepts was the Excel chapter. I feel that I learned great concepts that I am now able to implement in my daily use at work. I have reports that I complete at work that require calculations and learning how to correctly use the functions as well as the short cut's. Another concept I liked was the editing headers on worksheets; this allowed my worksheets to have a more professional and clean look.

PowerPoint also presented some great lessons. Being in the military we utilize PowerPoint for every kind of presentation we do. Learning how to add effects, themes, and videos into presentations gave me the tools to stand out the next time I have a presentation due. The most basic of concepts learned in this chapter are concepts that will make any presentation look unique.

I enjoyed this course; it challenged me each week as well as expanded my knowledge of computer's and programs. I always felt that I was advanced in my computer skills but this course showed that there were plenty of things I really didn't know.
