One of her theories of managements is The Godfather Theory of Management . This model depends upon power, and control model of leadership. It may also be noted that the topic is concerned about the motion pictures but the reality of management style focuses on principles of organizational behaviour. This type of leadership is transitional management and cannot sustain itself over an extended period of time.

Most people agree that preparing for the future is necessary to excel, but doing it effectively is difficult. All risk analyses offer some foresight, but tools based on classic probabilistic calculus open for deception through apparent accuracy in some situations because ambiguity and fuzziness is largely ignored.

Leadership in the Godfather

If w e try to compare the leadership traits and styles of the leading character in both the movies of the Godfather and Becket. Description of each character, theirs ways and means of influence and overall reaction to each character is required.

In the film the Godfather Marlon Brando plays the character Vito Corleone, a charismatic well respected head of a mafia organization called the called the family. The God father is an epic tale of Mafia life in America during the 1940s and '50s. Vito Corleone is the family patriarch balancing a love of his family with an ambitious criminal instinct.

Staring Richard Burton as the character of Becket and Peter O'Toole as Henry II the film is a bout the lifelong friendship of Henry II and the Archbishop of Canterbury, Thomas Becket. Where at he climax the friendship is tested and ends in tragedy as Becket grows more confident and thoughtful in his position.

1. It is theory of power and control model of leadership.

2. Although the theme of the article is based on the motion but actually it depicts the realty of management style focuses on organisational behaviour.

3. The article also teaches us that the model of leadership is transitional and cannot sustain without addition of other factors.

4. It also advise that a new method should be accessed so that it helps in change in organisational structure which can lead to long term success.

5. The authoritative leadership style is not prevalent thee days and Godfather Leadership Style can lead to the dictatorship which is not a good sign.

6. Godfather type of leadership are of short term in nature and creates chaotic situation.

7. The flaw in the article was that the power inherent in Godfather's management must be used to establish the leadership cadre and organisation on the path of quality.
